I have known Ronnie since she opened her shop in Clifton in the old Clifton Saddlery location. I was hosting Saturday crops at the Town Hall and would send my croppers over to her store for supplies. They always came back with bags full of goodies. Ronnie became a fast friend and I love going into her shop and just talking. Her class offerings are diverse and so much fun! This is the most wonderful craft store ! Once you walk in you are hooked and won’t need to go any where else for your paper crafting. The owner, Ronnie, couldn’t be more perfect. Hands down...The best craft supply store in Northern VA. Ronnie (the owner) is a caring and artistic person who sees art as an enjoyable and therapeutic outlet which in turn gives her customers the ability to buy art supplies at affordable prices. Her shop is filled with so many craft/art supplies that even if I only need an item or two I can spend hours perusing her shop and learning new ideas from her and her awesome & creative team. This store is such a treasure! The selection is tremendous, and the owner is incredibly helpful and sweet. I always need a lot of guidance and advice, and I always get it when I visit. I am continually impressed by how the owner rewards her customers with financial incentives without making you jump through a lot of hoops. This is the best paper crafting store I have ever been to! It isn't big but it's packed with the best quality and variety of supplies. Always has the latest products and the prices and promotions can't be beat. Hands down best papercrafting shop in the DC/MD/VA area! Other shops nickel and dime you, GoldensHill does not! They honestly care about your needs. I was recommended a less expensive alternative for one of my projects when I was ready to purchase a paste I was not familiar with. I became a new shopper at this wonderful store about 3 weeks ago and have now shopped twice. It has been the most the incredible shopping experience. I feel like I no longer need to shop at the "other" craft stores - because this store carries all of the items I'm looking for anyway - with no crowds or stupid coupons, with excellent service and the highest quality craft items I could ask for. This store is well stocked with up to date crafting supplies and if I am looking for something that is not in the store then I will check with Ronnie and if she can she will order. Ronnie and GoldensHill are absolutely incredible! It is an at-home atmosphere and I love coming with my daughters (27 and 10), grand daughter, and friends. We always have so much fun and feel such love and warmth and friendship. Sometimes we just have to go have our "Ronnie fix" even when we don't need anything! Ronnie is extremely knowledgeable (and talented) and shares information, techniques, and tricks and is happy to give you her full attention. The women who work there also are delightful. The best thing of all is that Ronnie's prices just can't be beat. You don't walk in thinking you can get it cheaper on line, because you can't. Love this store so much! Ronnie and her staff make you feel like family as soon as you enter the store. GoldensHill Papercrafts is a crafters dream. The store is always well stocked and if it isn't there Ronnie will try her best and get it for you and for me she has. The 40% discount of an item and bring your bag discount is great no coupons needed. There is a wonderful room in the back where classes are held and upon seeing something that I loved in the store they were kind enough to show me how to make while I was there!!! All around a great place to shop and make new friends. The atmosphere is laid back and no feeling of being pushed to buy anything. If you haven't been here you are missing out...the town is quaint and has some lovely stores and great places to have lunch.
